Small solutions to big problems
Why small solutions? Well, in order to have the greatest impact on a problem we need to reach as many people as possible. How do small do that?
We believe it is hard for people to change. Therefor, the smaller the change, the bigger the potential market. And a bigger market leads to a larger potential impact on the problem.
Things also need to be beautiful and well-designed. Because function is not enough. If it is not beautifully designed people will not buy it. And if it is not easy to use, they will not use it.
Lastly, altering existing products – rather than having people to buy brand new ones – is simpler, more cost effective and saves resources. That’s why we are Altered.
